So here I am with my $2 top bought at an op shop (the ruffles at the side are leopard spotted how cute!), I love love love jeremy scott but as we all know I would neva eva be able to afford it (well at least for the next 5 years HA) so this is as close as we can get, a pseudo jscot.

And of course as years of contextual studies and fashion history classes have taught us, everything is recycled, here's elsa schiaparellli's awe-some creation which may or may not have inspired this sweater...I would like to think that I'm extremely sharp and in sync with jeremy's mind so I will assume it was!

and i'm sure there are plenty of examples which i would love to go through another time, for now, off to crash my dreams!

I have re-kindled my obsession with Gwen Stefani by the fact that No Doubt would be playing here in Singaland for the F1 Rocks.
Soooo because we love to take it, copy it and paste it..

I looked up some tutorials on youtube for the 1940s Victory roll hair-dos and now I'm going to practice every-day and risk being late for work..just kidding.. here's me and my azn pose V^_^

Not faking it!: In the late 1940's, the victory roll hairstyle was wildly popular. This term was actually used for a fighter plane maneuver, but women adopted it for a fashion statement that celebrated the victory after WWII. Can you imagine these women did all this without hair-dryers and hair spray?

Back to Gwen, she's an amazing stylist, her face and hair would be perfectly wickedly made up even when she's wearing fab-ab showing cropped tops and track pants.Got to admire her dedication! ^_^V she's so totally inspiring my next collection.
